*What areas do you service?
We serve the entire Willamette Valley, Eugene, Salem, Portland, Ashland / Medford area, Oregon Coast, S.W. Washington and the Mt. Shasta area of Northern California.
*What types of events do you do?
Our primary focus is Weddings, but we also do Anniversaries, Reunions, Public & Corporate Events. We do not do Children's Birthday parties, Bat mitzvahs, Bar mitzvahs or School Dances.
*Do you have employees? Who will be my Dj?
We do not have employees & we do not sub contract ever! Because of how we personalize for our clients there is no possible way we could send you a substitute dj and pull off a seamless, personalized, TrueLove Sound caliber event. Jeff and Layla are what you get!
*Will you attend & assist my wedding rehearsal? By attending the wedding rehearsal we are able to not only assist our clients with the staging, we also get to meet with the wedding party, officiant, and put names to faces. The ice is broken early making it that much easier for us to work with the wedding party on the actual wedding day. We have found that both the bride and groom, mom and dad are all put at ease.
*Will you schedule a venue walkthrough with me?
Yes. By scheduling a walkthrough with our clients and on site manager we can familiarize ourselves with the venue and help map out the room for the best possible flow.
*Do you use professional sound gear?
Yes, we take great pride in the quality of our sound. We use: Self Powered Active Mackie Loudspeakers, MacBook Pro with Serato Scratch Live Video SL (All video enhancements can be cued on the spot from the computer)
What will your DJ station look like?
*Do you bring back up equipment?
You will have peace of mind knowing that we bring back up equipment to all of our events. We bring back up speakers, mixers, mics and 2 very reliable Macintosh laptops both with our entire music library. In the event of any equipment failure we can have it up and running again in a matter of minutes.
*Can I create my own playlist & do you play requests?
Absolutely! We tailor our music sets to our client's music preferences. We also feel it is important to find out what you do not want played. We will play requests from your guests provided they are appropriate to the moment. Click here to check our music database and create a custom playlist.
*Do you mix your music so there are no pauses between selections?
Yes, we have years of music programming and dance club mixing experience. Contact us and we will be happy to send you mp3 audio samples of our mixing skills.
*Do you have video samples of your work that I can view?
Yes! We strongly encourage you to ask every dj you contact to provide you with video footage. Click Here to see our Video Page.
*Attire?
We only dress in appropriate formal attire unless client specifies otherwise.
*Do you carry liability insurance?
This is one very very important detail that is often overlooked. Many venues these days require all vendors to show proof of liability insurance. TrueLove Sound carries $1,000,000 in liability insurance through the ADJA. Most low end companies do not carry liability insurance. Imagine the Dj you hired being told he or she is not allowed to set up at your reception venue on your wedding day. We will gladly provide a copy of our policy upon your request.
