Event Day Directing
; A wedding can be compared to a movie "set". You have a producer (whoever is funding the event), the primary stars (the bride and groom), and the supporting cast (the wedding party). You have hired help such as the photographer, videographer and caterer. But who is responsible for the staging, timing, & giving the event direction?
This is probably the most overlooked aspect of wedding planning...
Who will be the director?
As a wedding guest, have you ever witnessed the photographer or members of the wedding party needing to step in and manage the reception because things were not running smoothly? Was there confusion?
